Jackie Twitty

Jackie Lee Twitty of Gaffney, SC was born May 30, 1959 in Rutherfordton, NC to the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lynburgh Twitty. He transitioned to his eternal home on Thursday, December 22, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Mr. Charles Lynburgh Twitty and Mrs. Mittie Maude Twitty.

Jackie was a member of the Green Creek Baptist Church, where he sang with the All Male Choir and ushered. He also attended the Zion Grove AME Zion Church with his wife and song on the All Male Choir there for several years.

Jackie leaves to cherish his memories are his loving wife of Mrs. Gail S. Twitty, two sons Todd Lattimore (Kate) of Hendersonville, NC, Kasey of Spartanburg, SC, and two daughters Kimberly Jackson and Brittany Jackson both of Spartanburg, SC, nine grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends  

Services will be held at Green Creek Missionary Baptist Church on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 1:00 P.M.
