Joe Mosley

Mr. Joe Allen Mosley known to many as “Blackfoot” was born in Rutherford County North Carolina on February 4, 1942. He departed this life on December 21, 2022, at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. 

Joe moved to Charlotte in the 70’s and continued to reside there until his death. He was employed by City of Charlotte.

He was proceeded in death by his daughter, Gloria J. Mosely. 

Joe leaves to mourn two children: daughter Kay Mosely of Forest City and son Timothy (Catrena) Mosley of Forest City. Two stepchildren; Vickey Wilson of Charlotte and James Coston of Forest City. One Goddaughter, Nekeya Mosley and Great Grandson Bodarrius Mosley of Forest City.

In addition, Joe leaves brothers; Albert Mosley and Calivin Mosley both of Forest City. Three sisters; Ruth Goodman of Charlotte, Doris Lynch and Mary Cline of Forest City. Joe also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family. 

Services will be held at Thompson Mortuary & Chapel on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 1:00 P.M.
