Ronald Washington was born on February 19, 1970. He was the son of the late Gerald Waddell and Beatrice Washington. Ronald Graduate East Rutherford High School in 1988. After high school he worked as shift supervisor at Burlington Industries in Forest City, NC. Later he functioned in the same role of supervisor at Vaspar Corporation in Charlotte, NC.
Everyone knew Ronald as a very special person that loved his family and friends fiercely. He would give the shirt off his back if he could to someone in need. Ronald always had a love for football. Along with his high school friends, “The Four Horsemen” (Curtis Gary, Anthione “Kuda” Powell, and Keith Jackson), Ronald and team members of the East Rutherford High School Varsity Football Team became the Rutherford County and Conference Championship Football Team of 1986 to 1987. Ronald was also a “Die Hard Pittsburgh Steelers Fan”.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother Beatrice Washington of Forest City, NC, his daughter Kuri’e Denise Washington of Charlotte, NC, several siblings (Teresa Washington of Charlotte, NC, Kimberly Barr of Shelby, NC, Leslie Thomas of Grover, NC, Amy Miller of Spindale, NC, Albert Waddell of Spindale, NC, Rayford Johnson of Johnson City, TN, Jerri Waddell of Rutherfordton, NC, Janmetra Chenault of Atlanta, Terry Miller of Charlotte, NC, and Alexis Allen of Charlotte, NC), a host of nieces and nephews, family members, and many friends.
Services will be held at Thompson Mortuary & Chapel on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at 1:00 P.M.
