Charlotte Ann Dewberry, 67 of Henrietta, NC departed this life on Tuesday, May 19,2026. She passed away after an extended illness with her family by her bedside. She was born June 27, 1958 to Joe and Hattie Dewberry. She attended Chase High School in Rutherford County, NC. She joined Zion Hill AME Zion Church at an early age and was an active member for many years. She later joined fellowship with Greater Liberty. She loved to attend church services throughout Rutherford County.
Charlotte was a hard worker with a keen curiosity. She instilled her strong work ethic in her children and grandchildren. She had a long employment tenure at Fast Food Industries and A&E Plastics, both of Forest City, NC.
She enjoyed playing softball, spades, solitaire, darts, and any other competitive games. She loved to dance, laugh and have a good time with friends and family and especially loved beach trips with her grandchildren.
Most recently she developed friendships with those caring for her the most through her extended illness. She developed a reputation for being feisty and active -pushing herself beyond the limits of her health -defying odds. Her grandkids were her pride and joy. She went above and beyond to ensure they were her priority and their needs and wants were met.
