Ray Bertell Owens (70)

Ray Bertell Owens, 70, of Forest City, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.

Ray was born in Bluefield, West Virginia to the late Mildred Flipping Lindsey and the late Lane Augustus Owens.  Ray was predeceased by his sisters, Alease Owens Wilson and Donna Owens Reyes. 

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughter, Kia Owens of Fayetteville, North Carolina, grandson, Ryan Emfinger of Fayetteville, North Carolina, granddaughter, Cortney Emfinger of Fayetteville North Carolina, Brothers Lynn(Toni) Owens of Washington, D.C., Garvin (Nadine) Owensby of Clermont, Florida, sisters, Drema (Robert) Turner of Chester, Va, Patricia Gilliam of Hatboro, Pa, Rolanda Owens-Poles of Willow Grove, Pa. and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. 

A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later time.
